AMY-LYNN HOWSON's path has been nothing short of unconventional. Since showcasing in Nashville, TN in 2016 and touring with The Extreme Tour USA in 2017 & 2019, and UK 2024, she has found her voice and embraced the gift she has of touching hearts and bringing comfort through music. Little did she know that this would combine perfectly with her career as a nurse, when in April 2021 she was inspired to bring her guitar to the ICU and was dubbed “Ottawa’s Singing ICU Nurse” when a video of her went viral, leading to news interviews, airtime on radio, and features on e-news outlets across the world. She has since developed One Reaching Hand, an initiative that seeks to inspire and empower creatives to use their music and art to help their community and the hurting world around them.
